120 W State

We recently furnished a third apartment in bustling downtown Kennett Square. As you walk into this second floor living space, you are immediately drawn to the living room where there are three large windows that overlook the main thorofare, State Street. This apartment has a LR, DR, two BRs, one Bath, a walk-in closet, w/d, dw, hardwood floors, one bedroom with carpet and tile flooring in the bathroom and kitchen. Everything from linens to the basics awaits you. Make a cup of coffee, toast a bagel, enjoy a bottle of wine and/or just relax and read a book in this home away from home. Stay here and you will be steps away from some of the best dining, shopping and wine tasting in the Brandwyine Valley. Kennett Square was recently named the 5th Coolest Small Town in America by Budget Travel - located just 35 miles southwest of Philadelphia. Did you know that Kennett Square is also known as "The Mushroom Capital of the World"? Be sure to stop in at The Mushroom Cap and learn why before leaving this quaint small town. And if you are "Cute as a Button" or a "Fun-gi" we just might want to take your picture!

Original Tree Top Suite

Welcome to our first furnished apartment. As you can see, this apartment is spacious and quite comfortable. In addition to the comforts of home this apartment has a front balcony off the living room and a large deck off the kitchen. We enjoyed decorating this apartment one year for the annual Kennett Square Holiday Home Tour not so many years ago. We often wonder what it must have been like living in downtown Kennett Square when these buildings were first erected. Former owners of this building lived in this apartment above their retail business below.

The monthly rate for this apartment is $2000.
